14. Civil Society Days Seminar

Ms. Loredana URZICĂ-MIREA, member of the Romanian ESC, participated as a representative of our institution in two events organized by the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) in Brussels on 24 and 25 May 2018. 15. AICESIS International Meeting 2017

A delegation of the Romanian ESC, led by President Iacob Baciu and composed of Messrs. 16. AICESIS Webinar on Broad and Inclusive Growth

On Monday, February 19, 2024, the AICESIS webinar on "Broad and Inclusive Growth" was held, organized by the Social and Economic Council (SER) of Curaçao, which currently holds the AICESIS presidency. 22 representatives of CESs from the four regions represented in the association participated. 17. Participation of the ESC of Romania in the AICESIS Board 2021

On 27th of October 2021, the meeting of the General Assembly (GA) and the Board of Directors (AC) of the International Association of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions (AICESIS) was held in hybrid format. The meeting was organized by the Economic, Social, Environmental and Cultural Council (CESEC) of Côte d'Ivoire in Abidjan, together with AICESIS. The event marked the end of the mandate of the Ivorian council at the head of the Association. 19. AICESIS Board 2024

On Wednesday, January 31, 2024, the Social and Economic Council of Curaçao (SER), which holds the presidency of the International Association of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions (AICESIS) for the term 2023-2025, organized an extraordinary meeting of the Board of Directors online (CA) of AICESIS. All four areas whose ESCs make up the Governing Council, namely Africa, Europe, Eurasia/Middle East, Latin America and the Caribbean, were represented at the meeting and a quorum was met for decision-making. 21. Meeting of the members of the AICESIS Board of Directors 2020

On 17 December 2020, between 15:00 and 18:00, the meeting of the members of the AICESIS Board of Directors took place by videoconference. Representatives of the ESCs from Curaçao, Saint Martin, France, Greece, Spain, Monaco, Ivory Coast, UCESA (Morocco), Benin, Mali, CAR, Senegal, Serbia, Romania, Russia and China, as well as general secretaries participated Deputy Representatives representing Europe (Luxembourg) and Eurasia (Korea) and AICESIS Permanent Representation to the UN. https://www.ces.ro/meeting-of-the-members-of-the-aicesis-board-of-directors-2020/en/221

The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) organized on 23 and 24 November 2017, in Madrid, at the headquarters of the Economic and Social Council of Spain, the 11th Civil Society Media Seminar, which focused on an issue that has gained visibility and relevance lately, that is media globalization in connection with the emergence and the development of social media. The event brought together communication specialists and political analysts, journalists, EESC members and representatives of different European Economic and Social Councils. 24. Elective General Assembly of UCESIF 2017

The Economic and Social Council of Romania organized on Friday, 8 December 2017, at its headquarters in Bucharest, an Elective General Assembly of UCESIF. The event brought together representatives of the Francophone CES - Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, France, Mali and Morocco - of the International Francophone Organization, the Ivory Coast Embassy and the Kingdom of Morocco. Three members of the Union, who could not attend the meeting, mandated Mr Nizar Baraka, President of the EESC in Morocco and the then President of UCESIF, to represent them. These were: Guinea's Economic and Social Council, Niger's Economic, Social and Cultural Council, and Senegal's Economic, Social and Environmental Council. ESAs from Armenia, Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, Greece, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Mauritania, Monaco and Chad could not be represented at this event. https://www.ces.ro/elective-general-assembly-of-ucesif-2017/en/170
