2. AICESIS Presidency

The Presidency of AICESIS is held for a two-year term, according to a principle of rotation on a continental basis, by an Economic and Social Council member of the Association. 6. Interview with CES President Mr Bogdan Simion

The French Economic, Social and Environmental Council (EESC) has launched an opinion on building a Europe of health. The EESC's Committee on European and International Affairs wanted to consult another European Economic and Social Council on this subject with a view to drawing up its opinion as widely as possible. 8. CES Romania participation in the meeting of the UCESIF Bureau 2022

On Thursday, February 10, 2022, the meeting of the Bureau of the Union of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Francophone Institutions (UCESIF) took place online. 12. CES Romania participation in the European Economic and Social Committee

The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) organized a seminar on "Connecting within the EU" in Lisbon on 18 and 19 November 2021 in Lisbon with the Portuguese Economic and Social Council on "What kind of Europe do you dream of? and the Conference on the Future of Europe ". 49. Participation of the ESC of Romania in the AICESIS Board 2021

On 27th of October 2021, the meeting of the General Assembly (GA) and the Board of Directors (AC) of the International Association of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions (AICESIS) was held in hybrid format. The meeting was organized by the Economic, Social, Environmental and Cultural Council (CESEC) of Côte d'Ivoire in Abidjan, together with AICESIS. The event marked the end of the mandate of the Ivorian council at the head of the Association. 77. Elective General Assembly of UCESIF 2017

The Economic and Social Council of Romania organized on Friday, 8 December 2017, at its headquarters in Bucharest, an Elective General Assembly of UCESIF. The event brought together representatives of the Francophone CES - Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, France, Mali and Morocco - of the International Francophone Organization, the Ivory Coast Embassy and the Kingdom of Morocco. Three members of the Union, who could not attend the meeting, mandated Mr Nizar Baraka, President of the EESC in Morocco and the then President of UCESIF, to represent them. These were: Guinea's Economic and Social Council, Niger's Economic, Social and Cultural Council, and Senegal's Economic, Social and Environmental Council. 78. The role of EU civil society in a globalized world of communications

The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) organized on 23 and 24 November 2017, in Madrid, at the headquarters of the Economic and Social Council of Spain, the 11th Civil Society Media Seminar, which focused on an issue that has gained visibility and relevance lately, that is media globalization in connection with the emergence and the development of social media. The event brought together communication specialists and political analysts, journalists, EESC members and representatives of different European Economic and Social Councils. A delegation of the Romanian ESC, led by President Iacob Baciu and formed of Messrs. 89. Focus group organized online by the European Economic and Social Committee 2023

On Monday, April 3, 2023, the European Economic and Social Committee (CESE) organized an online administrative focus group, in which the Economic and Social Council from Portugal and the Economic and Social Council from Romania participated. The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) organized on November 24 and 25, 2022, in Zagreb, together with the Economic and Social Council of Croatia, the "Connecting the EU" seminar with the theme "Geopolitical disturbances at the gate of Europe: the perspective of civil society".
