1. Interview with CES President Mr Bogdan Simion

The French Economic, Social and Environmental Council (EESC) has launched an opinion on building a Europe of health. The EESC's Committee on European and International Affairs wanted to consult another European Economic and Social Council on this subject with a view to drawing up its opinion as widely as possible. In this regard, the commission asked the President of CES Romania, Mr. Bogdan Simion, to express his opinion on this topic by answering a few specific questions in an online interview that took place on December 8, 2021 and lasted an hour and a half. https://www.ces.ro/interview-with-ces-president-mr-bogdan-simion/en/236

2. CES Romania at the AICESIS-IOM regional webinar

4. The 12-th Civil Society Media Seminar

The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) organized in Athens, with the support of the Economic and Social Council of Greece (OKE), on 22 and 23 November 2018, the 12-th Civil Society Media Seminar on the topic of "Reasserting Europe’s Values". The event brought together communication experts and political scientists, press officers, journalists, EESC members, delegates of various European economic and social councils. A delegation representing the Economic and Social Council of Romania, formed of Messrs. The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) organized a seminar on "Connecting within the EU" in Lisbon on 18 and 19 November 2021 in Lisbon with the Portuguese Economic and Social Council on "What kind of Europe do you dream of? and the Conference on the Future of Europe ". 8. Participation of ESC Romania at General Assembly UCESIF 2017

A delegation representing the Economic and Social Council of Romania, formed of Mr. Radu Minea, Member of the ESC Bureau, and Ms. Eugenia Ștefănescu, Head of the International and Public Relations Department, participated in the UCESIF Seminar on "ESC-SIs and the broadening of the social protection floor: state of affairs in UCESIF countries and future challenges", which took place on July 3, 2017, as well as in the UCESIF elective General Assembly, which was held on July 4, in Rabat, Morocco. https://www.ces.ro/participation-of-esc-romania-at-general-assembly-ucesif-2017/en/163

9. AICESIS International Meeting 2017

A delegation of the Romanian ESC, led by President Iacob Baciu and composed of Messrs. 10. Civil Society Days Seminar

11. Participation of the ESC of Romania in the AICESIS Board 2021

On 27th of October 2021, the meeting of the General Assembly (GA) and the Board of Directors (AC) of the International Association of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions (AICESIS) was held in hybrid format. The meeting was organized by the Economic, Social, Environmental and Cultural Council (CESEC) of Côte d'Ivoire in Abidjan, together with AICESIS. The event marked the end of the mandate of the Ivorian council at the head of the Association.
